While quarterback Kevin Kolb painted by the numbers, using his bubblegum-pink paint to fill in sections of a mural, Wister principal Donna Smith tried to keep herself from tearing up.

Some people find writing arduous. Some people just don't have the time. Others can write beautifully but take an eternity to get words on paper (or on the screen).

I don't suffer from any of these.

I love to write. I find writing natural, innate. Time doesn't concern me because I move fast and deliberately. And trust me, my work does not suffer because I am efficient.
